Letter, in a single hand, seeking pardon for not having been able to pay a promised allowance to his father. Included in the volume are two engraved portraits of Thomas Osborne, Duke of Leeds; an engraving labeled "The Duke of Leeds relating to Charles 2d. a remarkable circumstance of his Ancestor;" and an engraving of Leeds Castle. The letter is accompanied by a typed summary and transcription.
